View Point is an education series that brings you the latest information about vision health and research by way of virtual, hybrid and in-person events. 2024 topics include innovative treatments, inherited retinal dystrophies (IRDs), age-related macular degeneration (AMD), glaucoma and living well with an eye disease.

Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that cause vision loss by damaging the optic nerve. Join FBC and special guests to learn more about the leading cause of irreversible vision loss in Canada.
- Hear from Dr. Tasneem P. Sharma, PhD, Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Indiana University School of Medicine about her research into optic nerve regeneration.
- Ask the Expert! Ask your glaucoma questions to Dr. Delan Jinapriya, glaucoma specialist and medical director of the Galen Eye Institute, Queen’s University.
